Tour de Y

It's not the Tour de France, but it's the Tour de Y. Thank you Fran for signing us up for this. What does it include you ask? Well, it includes 28 cycle classes in the next 31 days. Yes that means that we have to take more than one cycle class a day to keep up. Fran and I are on day 2 with 3 classes under our belt. What a start!!! But wait, the best part is yet to come. At the end of the 31 days, and if we complete all 28 classes we will be in the final round. How exciting!!! We get to cycle for 4 1/2 hours. Yes, thank you Fran!

Below is a picture that we took before our first class. I hope by the time this challenge is over with there will be some shedding of weight. If not, someone will pay.

Of course we are smiling, the class hadn't started yet!

New Career

Hi Everyone! I am so excited! I am starting school Monday at Meybohm to get my Real Estate license. Alan and I always said that I would go back to work full-time once Drew started school. I am very excited about my new career. If you know of anyone selling or buying a home in the near future (like October) let me know.

Drew just completed T Ball season. It was fun. Alan was basically an assistant coach and I was the team mom.

Alan is working hard as usual. We are excited about a bright future!

I hope everyone is doing well.

Vacation in the mountains

Last week we went to Banner Elk, NC with the Wilson's. We had 12 people in a two bedroom condo. We were fortunate to have one of the bedrooms. We all hiked at Lineville Falls and Alan and I hiked at Upper Creek Falls. Both had some gorgeous views and we are all ready to move up there. Drew got to enjoy Tweetsie for two days. He rode rides until Mom and Dad turned green. Here are some pictures from the trip. By the way, the high was only 74 degrees. Quite a change from triple digits.

Our First Blog

Okay, you all talked me into starting this so here it goes.

Drew just completed his first year in school. He attended the Camelot Kids program at Evans High School. He had a a great time and we both met good friends. Here are some pictures from their field day!Ms. McGough and Drew

The Class (talk about energy)

Monday was Memorial Day and we had a cookout with our dear friends, The Logue's. Mike and Alan were on the roof all day and we were watching from the pool. (Something does not sound right, does it boys?) Here are some pics from the kids in the pool.
