It's be way too long!

Hello everyone. Sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything. The family had a wonderful holiday season and brought in the New Year great. I am still working two jobs and Alan is still at Massey. I just recently singed my buyer for a home in Hephzibah. I will be happy for them when it closes next month. I promise to post more often.

Halloween Party

How many of you think that Alan and I have lost our minds in this photo? Besides Fran and the Person's, who can guess the THEME of our costumes? Unlike other blogs, there is no prize. The answer will be posted. I have several photos from a party that we attended last week but I only included a picture of Johnny Cash and June Carter because they have a blog. Don't they look wonderful. I just loved "June's" wig!

I'm Finished!!!

Last Thursday my Mom and I left to go to Savannah, GA to take my state Real Estate Exam. We left Thursday morning and arrived in Savannah about lunch time. Where shall we go you ask? Well of course, Paula Deen's Lady and Son's Restaurant. Yum-O. The food was fantastic. Mom and I then found a hotel and I studied for the afternoon. We went to a near by mall just to get out the hotel for a few minutes. Friday morning I took my exam. I PASSED!!! I cannot believe it. I am a bone fide real estate agent. I am not going to work as an agent right now. I am going to assist a dear friend of mine with her real estate business. I am so excited. Anyway, Drew and Alan had a great time without me. They went to the park, library, and McDonald's within the same evening. Talk about excitement. Hope everyone is doing good! Drew is going on his first field trip on Wednesday and I am a chaperone. I hope to have pictures up soon.

Drew has started Pre-K

Hi! I know this is late. But better late, than never. Anyway, Drew started Pre-K last month at Appletree Academy II. He is so excited. His teacher is our next door neighbor, who he adores. We have had an adjustment period but nothing major. Drew has had both of his gradmother's over in this last week and he made out like a bandit.

This is Drew before he left for school.

This is Drew sitting in his "new" classroom.

I cannot believe how fast they grow up!

Tour de Y

It's not the Tour de France, but it's the Tour de Y. Thank you Fran for signing us up for this. What does it include you ask? Well, it includes 28 cycle classes in the next 31 days. Yes that means that we have to take more than one cycle class a day to keep up. Fran and I are on day 2 with 3 classes under our belt. What a start!!! But wait, the best part is yet to come. At the end of the 31 days, and if we complete all 28 classes we will be in the final round. How exciting!!! We get to cycle for 4 1/2 hours. Yes, thank you Fran!

Below is a picture that we took before our first class. I hope by the time this challenge is over with there will be some shedding of weight. If not, someone will pay.

Of course we are smiling, the class hadn't started yet!
